Durham is a place that many people visit for a short time to work or study and our cottage is ideal for those times, much more comfortable than a hotel.

Durham University attracts many visiting academics from all over the world who come to work in a range of departments on exchange visits and research projects. Many of those academics have stayed with us.

Durham also attracts many people who need to stay for a short time on business and our cottages are ideal for those who want to be in Durham for anything from two weeks to several months.

During that time we will clean the cottage once a week changing all the towels and bed linen, a service which is included in the price.

We can send information on Durham before your stay on bus times, train times places to hire a car and anything else that would make your arrival easier.

If there is a break in your stay, many people wish to see some of the country while they are here, we can store luggage for your return.
