The cottage consists of an open plan lounge and dining area, kitchen, bathroom with bath, over bath shower, hand basin and wc. There is a small rear courtyard with garden furniture.

Fern Cottage has good local amenities within walking distance, including a supermarket, an off license, a newsagent, a post office, and a bakers. Also in the vicinity are several pubs, which serve meals and within walking distance there is a take away.
|

Prices range from £265 to £370 per week, depending on the season.

Leave A1(M) and take A690 into Durham City. At first roundabout take the left exit on to the A181 towards Hartlepool. At the top of the hill is Gilesgate Green. Fern Cottage is situated in the far right corner.
