Dove Cottage is a detached cottage situated in a courtyard at the rear of Weardale House in Sherburn village, three miles east of Durham City.

The cottage has a lounge/dining room, kitchen, one double room with a double bed and a shower room with hand basin and wc.

Dove Cottage has good local amenities within walking distance, including a supermarket with off licence, newsagents, post office, pharmacy, hair dressers and a bakers. Also in the vicinity are two pubs, which serve meals, an Italian restaurant and within walking distance there is a take away. There is frequent local bus service to Durham.

Prices range from £265 to £370 per week, depending on the season.

Leave Durham City on the A181 heading towards Hartlepool. Cross over A1(M) and continue straight on the B1283 to Sherburn Village. Weardale House is on the right shortly after the main crossroads in the village centre.
